REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
- Overview
GREPS Real Estate operates as a commission-based real estate facilitation platform. We do not charge upfront service fees. Commission is applicable only upon the successful closure of a property transaction facilitated by our team.
This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations may occur and refunds may be considered.
- Cancellation of Facilitation Engagement
- Sellers or buyers may cancel their engagement with GREPS before the deal is finalized, without incurring any commission.
- If substantial facilitation work has already been performed (e.g., site visits, agreement drafting, registration prep), a nominal administrative fee may be charged to cover operational costs.
- Cancellation must be communicated in writing to support@greps.in.
- Refund Eligibility
Refunds are applicable only in the following cases:
- Commission charged in error for a deal that did not close
- Buyer or seller withdrawal before signing, with no facilitation services rendered
- Platform failure to deliver agreed facilitation services (after verification)
Refunds are not applicable once the deal is closed and the commission is invoiced.
- Refund Process
- All refund requests must be submitted via email within 7 days of payment.
- Requests will be reviewed by our support team and processed within 15–30 business days.
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Exceptions & Force Majeure
GREPS shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations caused by:
- Natural disasters, government restrictions, or force majeure events
- Legal disputes between buyer and seller
- External delays in registration or documentation beyond our control
- Dispute Resolution
Any disputes related to cancellations or refunds will be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved, they will be subject to the jurisdiction of Tamil Nadu courts.
